Here we go again... The Monkey Bar manages to screw up another show.No Misfits. Evidently, it was canceled last week due to a lack of payment. Of course, the bar is still selling tickets on their website.

I was really looking forward to this show. WTF happened?
ReplyDeleteFrom what I gathered, the bar didn't honor the band's contract. The Misfits wanted to be paid some amount before they showed up. The Monkey Bar doesn't like to do that and has been known to give bands the runaround -basically play chicken with them.
ReplyDeleteAt least a couple of times, The Monkey Bar is supposed to have stiffed performers who went along with their silliness.
I thought the club had grown up a bit, but I guess not.
